Esta mañana hemos asistido a la actividad  TOCA LA BANDA. Nos ha gustado muchísimo y os habéis portado muy bien. ¡Enhorabuena!

These are our three experiments:

1st Experiment: DYED CARNATIONS

We learnt roots or stem, in this case, absorbes water (red and blue liquid in our experiment) and carries it to the rest of the plant. That´s why the white carnations turned into blue and red ones.

2nd Experiment: PLANT IN A BOX WITH SMALL WINDOW IN LID

We learnt plants grow towards light.

3rd Experiment: PLANT IN A CUPBOARD WITH NO LIGHT AT ALL.

The plant in the cupboard is yellowish. If plants haven´t got sunlight they can´t make its own food properly process called photosynthesis) and in the end the plant will die.

They are describing the experiments in their register sheets  and writing down what they have learnt.

It´s been very interesting! They were amazed!!!

     Last 30th Thursday we celebrated DAY OF PEACE.

 We invited our friends from 4th A and B to come to our class. We sang a nice song and we gave them postcards with a message about peace. We had a good time!
